FREE MEDITATION DOWNLOAD: Chakra Balancing for Greater Intuition

Be careful what you wish for

by | Dec 16, 2025 | Executive Intuition Coaching

What do you wish for this holiday season?

Is it a feeling, a someone, or a thing? Maybe a new car or a trip to a bucket-list locale. Or how about winning the lottery? That all sounds wonderful.

I have my own list, but with a caveat: Please make it so if it is for my greatest good and highest purpose.

In the event my wish is unfulfilled, I comfort myself with knowing it wasn’t good for me, or at least not good at this time.

Here’s another trick to wishing. Does your wish require that someone else change? Will your partner finally get you what you want? Will someone in your life become less or more of something? Do you fantasize that your family’s dynamic will be different this year?

If so, this is a great path to disappointment.

Instead, try imagining your reaction being different. Let your desires be about what you can do for yourself.

Let me explain.

A client, anxious about an upcoming holiday gathering, was having anxiety attacks. Through hypnotherapy, she practiced new responses to familiar scenarios and imagined a heart filter to let in love and block negativity. She later reported enjoying the holiday much more, calling this the greatest gift she could have wished for.

If you’d like help envisioning a better outcome, let’s schedule a discovery call.

Wishing you a season filled with growth, fulfillment, and all that serves your highest good.
