“It’s hard to read the ingredients from inside the jar.”
I heard this metaphor the other day and thought how perfectly it underscored the need to get outside what we think we know about ourselves. Get a new perspective, challenge our truths.
Sometimes, we are so internally blended into the idea of being one thing that we forget that we are made up of multiple ingredients.
Or even more accurately, we believe we know all the ingredients, but we may be missing the exact proportions. Maybe we think we are all tomatoes. But do we know exactly how spicy, how mild, how medium we may be? What foods do we pair well with?
Okay, I am hammering the metaphor a little hard, but it lends itself so beautifully to the need to take a good look at ourselves.
Our ego tells us we are one thing, and we are that thing much of the time. But the truth is, we are made up of many things, and we don’t always let the other flavors through.
What’s definitely not on the list of ingredients are your thoughts, which play a pivotal role in how the ingredients come together and marinate, giving you that special something.
Psychic readings and hypnotherapy are both excellent opportunities to read your list of ingredients from the outside and discover new things about yourself.
Questioning what you always thought you were/are is healthy. Maybe you’re correct. And maybe there’s more to you than you know. Reach out if you want to explore your very special blend.
