The best part about boundaries is that they tell me who my people are and who they are not.

If someone has boundaries that I don’t appreciate, it is a sure sign that they know their limits. How great is that?

It is not my job to like them, only to respect them. If their situation changes and they decide to change their limits great, but until then, that is their limit.

So how sexy are you?

Do you know your limits and stick to them?

When my kids were in youth group, they discussed permeable boundaries. They know their limits and yet remained open to new information and new decisions about their limits.

Here’s how to tell if you have good boundaries:

• Do you feel like a martyr or victim?
• Do you say yes when you should say no?
• Do you believe that if it weren’t for you, others would fail?

Some of these are the result of past experiences or beliefs. None of them are sexy.
