Being Woo Woo in an Engineered World

It is cause for both celebration and fear when you turn your world upside right and loved ones see it as upside down. One day, Mary Flanagan Gleason woke up to the realization that, despite outward appearances, her life was upside down. Although all the signs were there for a long time, she continued to tell herself that how others saw her was correct, even if she felt out of alignment. Her belief was that no matter what, she “could handle it.” Her resistance to change resulted in physical illness and a mental breakdown.
