I finally decided to learn astrology.
What a great exercise for my aging brain! And oh, how I wish I had paid closer attention in geometry class those many years ago.
But alas, it is all starting to fall into place. The stars are especially great at helping us remember why we came here, where we find ease, and where we face challenges.
First, I learned to read my own chart. Imagine my relief to confirm that I have been learning the lessons I chose for this lifetime. And yes, it included relying heavily on my intuition and ability to serve others with it.
I have noticed how much astrology helps me with my psychic readings. (Still practicing.) It adds a layer of richness and a certain amount of predictability. I’m not quite ready to hang out a shingle as an astrologer yet. Still, I will incorporate it more fully into my sessions soon.
Here are some helpful hints for you to note.
The most important thing for you to pay attention to is your sun sign (it tells you who you are in this lifetime). No sense in fighting it like I did. I have a lot of fire in my chart, which has led me to deny my Taurus nature. But I’ve learned to look deeper and found its truth about me.
The second most important thing to pay attention to is your moon. It reflects how you deal with emotions. Like my sun in Taurus, my moon is in an earth sign, so once again I find myself being practical even with my emotions.
The third most important thing is your rising sign. Here the stars are talking about how we need to show up to help fulfill this life’s purpose. Finally, some fire in my chart! I am Leo rising. As my instructor pointed out, I need to show up like a queen. (Personally, I think I’m nailing it.) The trick to an accurate rising sign is your time of birth, as it advances every two hours. If you don’t know and think you want your chart read, start now to figure out the time as closely as possible. Many times, it is on the birth certificate.
As I said, I’m not ready to hang my astrologer shingle quite yet, but I am excited about my newest tool.
Meanwhile, I am still happily providing readings and would love to help you get started on 2026.
PS Happy11/11! Good day to start new things.
Mary
